A paragraph about you:  I love what I do.  When I'm not singing, I'm playing the piano, or teaching others to play the piano or sing.  I love seeing other people getting excited about making music. I'm married to Caleb. He's my best friend, and I'm so lucky to spend most of my time with him. We're hoping our two kids will be musicians, artists, and all around creative kids.  I'm a gardening maniac. I laughed at my parents when they spent every day in their garden, but now I'm turning into them! These days I get excited about talking about compost piles.  I go to the movies every chance I get, and I love to read. I'm also trying to launch a writing career. You can read my blog at www.heatherkingstory.com.  My vices are Starbuck's Mocha Coconut and Peppermint Mocha Frappuccinos and I'm happy to say. . .my own cooking (I've finally learned how to do it!)

Most memorable touring experience: Wow. There's a reality show's wealth of material here. Pick one? Well, alright. How about playing on "The New Jim Bakker Show" in Branson, MO? I mean, come on. Branson? Jim Bakker? We're the guest musicians? Or was I in some sort of dream state, second-level deep, like the film "Inception"? No, the totem is a sword, and it can be yours for a $200 donation. Yes. A sword. Somebody warn the FedEx driver: That thing's sharp!

A comment about you: Childhood memories include playing Nerf flag football in the front yard, using driveways as end zones. We also ran pass patterns in the vacant street. Vacant, that is, except for parked cars along the curb. Be careful not to slam into one of them when you're running a down-and-out. Hike!

A paragraph about you: I have always been attracted to the arts. Music, writings, poetry, drawings, paintings, it doesn't matter. In response to my overwhelming love for all things creative, I desire to contribute my own ideas to the greater movement. Through music, I have been able to explore the poetic side of my beliefs through lyric writing, and musically I have been able to draw from those musicians I look up to and create something that gives a nod to them while staying fundamentally myself.
